In 1966 Augusto Newton received his first Scalextric and soon after began to compete in races held in Barcelona.
Thus was born a hobby that turned into collecting and passion, and decades later he had nearly 1,000 cars.
Leaving his professional activity and with time to dedicate, in 2018 he decides to create his own brand The Slot Affair and invest in his own moulds for the production of spare parts for English cars from the 60s, with a certain value and lack of such parts in the market.
Sales of these parts are successful and we then launch a full production run of a car that sees the light of day in 2021; the Tyrrel P34, injected in butyrate.
For the launch of the car we exclusively produce our own urns, which we also sell separately. Since then and to date other projects of creations totally faithful to the original models at 1:32 scale, are being carried out, all of them injected in butyrate and/or ABS, which we hope to be able to present soon.
In our workshop located in Barcelona, each of our cars and spare parts are assembled and decorated in a handmade way, all of them produced entirely in Spain and exclusively.
Although we do not have a shop open to the public, with individualised and previously requested opening hours, we can attend visits by appointment.
We have a new online shop where you can buy the products that are now in our catalogue: our own vehicles and accessories, as well as other articles from other manufacturers.
